Through partnerships, SNCF helps pass on history to new generations, foster understanding of the past and keep alive the values that underpin the work of memory.

SNCF supports the educational initiatives developed by sites of memory, in France and internationally. Memorials, museums and former camps offer young people visits, workshops and educational trails to help them better understand the history of the Second World War, the Holocaust and persecution.

It also supports associations that develop projects to pass on history to young people, in various forms, to raise awareness of the history of the Second World War and of the values of respect, tolerance and the fight against racism, antisemitism and all forms of discrimination.
