Alongside its commitment to history and memory, SNCF places great importance on educational projects, particularly for young people. Beyond teaching about the crimes against humanity and genocides committed during the Second World War and since 1945, it is essential to prevent future tragedies by educating young people in citizenship and raising their awareness of the early signs of intolerance and hatred of others that develop around them. For these reasons, SNCF funds educational activities organised at sites of memory.
