SNCF supports the production of exhibitions on the Resistance and the Deportation. Several of them have been shown in French railway stations and in various institutions, such as the Senate or the UNESCO House in Paris.
An exhibition offers a unique space to raise awareness of history and pass on memory. By bringing together archival documents, photographs, objects and testimonies, it makes individual journeys and historical events accessible, while giving everyone the keys to better understand the past.
Presented in heritage sites as well as in spaces open to the wider public, these exhibitions help to root the memory of the Second World War in places of everyday life and passage, and to pass it on to future generations.
